OUR PROGRAM
Heguru programs are developed by HEGL Japan since 1985 based on research, classroom teaching experience and parents feedback. We have developed a well-rounded education to assist children to attain greater learning capabilities, increase sensitivity children senses, develop their fine and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, as well as empathy towards others. Activities are intertwined within the 50 mins lesson depending on the children’s age and physical development. Many of activities are also interactive in nature and a good opportunity to build bond between the parent and child.

About Our Program
All Heguru programs are conducted by 2 instructors in each class. We aim to build good connections with each and every one of our students. Our materials cover a broad range of subject matter. Arts, history, geography, science… They are original, handmade by our teachers and continually improved to ensure the effectiveness. The class programs are both intensive and extensive. Lessons are conducted at a fast pace to attain high levels of stimulation to child. Rest assured we will definitely make sure that classes are pack full of fun, musical and lots of laughter!!
- Primary II (7 years old)
- Primary III (8 years old)
We focus on the children cognitive and language ability. We would like the children to learn all subject matters more efficiently and effectively. There will also be an emphasis on character building and increasing the children’s awareness of their social responsibilities. This is the stage we expose our children to abstract concepts such as time and money.
To expand the child vocabulary, we will slowly develop children reading and comprehension skill in our book of the month. Our activities also help to develop the executive functions of the children e.g. to plan, follow instructions and adaptable thinking.

INFANT AND TODDLER
This is a critical period to start developing cognitive and analytical thinking skills. An important stage that requires nurturing of the heart to cultivate positive value system. We adopt a “partnership” or teamwork relationship here. The instructors of the class will instruct the accompanying parent. Consequently, the parent will speak to the child.
Objective: To stimulate the senses of the child as the learn to use them to explore their surroundings. Our activities aim to stimulate the auditory, tactile and vision of the child. To build a trust, build bond and learn to interact between the parent and child.
During toddlers’ class, our activities aim to assist with the development of both the fine and gross motor skills as well as the hand-eye coordination of the child.
- 50 min weekly

JUNIOR AND PRIMARY 1
